The end-face of silicon-based fiber array includes different materials, silicon (V-shaped grooves), quartz (optical fiber) and ultraviolet adhesives, as shown in Fig.1, and their hardness are different each other.

4.2 Gearbox
Gear systems are employed in ornithopters to provide enough necklace to agitate the bodies.
As the weight of materials and strength is a critical factor for this project.
These materials have good flexibility, durability and to weight ratio.
With the right choice of materials, this conclusion can be applied to the development of a stable ornithopter.

Abstract.
