Abstract: The recent ISO/IEEE 11073 PHD standard presented a way to achieve the communication between personal healthcare devices, but it didnt specified how to interact with the other smart homes component. The paper designed an interaction model composed of three kinds of service pack and signal-slot mechanism, the model provided a simple way to identify the device status and manage x73 messages. And it did an experiment about R wave detection to verify the interaction model successfully. The paper promotes the application of x73 standard in the interaction between healthcare devices and the other smart homes component.
