This volume contains selected peer-reviewed papers presented at the 2021 Virtual International Conference on Sustainable Engineering and Materials Development (ICSEMD 2021, 22- 24 September 2021). The conference was co-hosted by LabIngate Inc. Canada and Bells University of Technology, Nigeria. The papers cover recent achievements in the development and properties' research of various advanced materials and sustainable materials processing technologies.
The presented volume reflects the last research results and engineering solutions in materials and technologies in mechanical engineering and construction, modern nanomaterials, and applied nanotechnologies. The 61st conference Materials Science and Applied Chemistry (MSAC 2020, 23 October 2020, Riga, Latvia) brought together leading scientists, researchers, and doctoral students from six different countries. Several Latvian scientific and higher education institutions took part in the conference and presented their research results: Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry; University of Latvia; RTU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Transport and Aeronautics; RTU Faculty of Civil Engineering; RTU Faculty of Materials Science and Applied Chemistry.
