The 61st conference Materials Science and Applied Chemistry (MSAC 2020, 23 October 2020, Riga, Latvia) brought together leading scientists, researchers, and doctoral students from six different countries. Several Latvian scientific and higher education institutions took part in the conference and presented their research results: Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry; University of Latvia; RTU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Transport and Aeronautics; RTU Faculty of Civil Engineering; RTU Faculty of Materials Science and Applied Chemistry. The conference covered many research directions such as valorization of biomass, inorganic materials; composite materials; binders; drug delivery systems; biotechnological processes, synthesis, and solid-phase studies of organic compounds, to name but a few.
The 6th KKU International Engineering Conference 2016 (KKU-IENC 2016) was held 3-5th August , 2016 in Khon Kean, Thailand and was focused on the applied materials and related technologies for different areas of human activity.
