Description: This volume contains the abstracts presented at the 13th International Conference on Fracture, Fatigue and Wear (FFW 2025), held in Ghent, Belgium, from 29 to 31 July 2025. The conference gathered leading researchers and engineers from academia and industry to share advances in fracture mechanics, fatigue, tribology, and material wear. Emphasizing both theoretical and applied perspectives, the event fostered interdisciplinary dialogue through analytical models, numerical methods, and experimental studies. FFW 2025 aimed to promote global collaboration and innovation in addressing real-world engineering challenges.

Description: This book contains the abstracts presented at the 12th International Conference on Fracture Fatigue and Wear (FFW 2024), which was held in Xi'an, China, during the period 28-31 July 2024. Previous conferences were celebrated in Jinan (China, 2010), Kitakyushu (Japan, 2013), Kitakyushu (Japan, 2014), Ghent (Belgium, 2015), Kitakyushu (Japan, 2016), Porto (Portugal, 2017) and Ghent (Belgium, 2018 - 2023). The overall objective of the conference is to bring together international scientists and engineers in academia and industry in fields related to fracture mechanics, fatigue of materials, tribology and wear of materials. The conference covers industrial engineering applications in the above fields, including theoretical and analytical methods, numerical simulations and experimental techniques. One of the aims of the conference is to promote cooperation between international scientists and engineers from a large number of disciplines who are involved in research related to fracture, fatigue and wear.

Description: The volume is a collection of edited papers presented at the 18th International Conference on Fracture and Damage Mechanics (FDM 2019), which was held in Rodos Palace Hotel, Rhodes, Greece. The papers cover a wide range of topics related to fracture and damage mechanics. Studies on failure analysis, fracture mechanics, composites, micromechanics, multiscale modeling as well as probabilistic aspects, computer modeling methods, and non-linear problems are presented for a wide range of structural materials, both monolithic and composite. Studies include fatigue, corrosion, creep, dynamic fracture and durability together with damage tolerance aspects. Selected papers on multiscale and multifunctional composites have been presented together with works on structural health monitoring, remaining life assessment methodologies and predictive modeling.
