The NSCME conference is aimed at creating a forum allowing professors, researchers, experts, engineers and students worldwide an opportunity to discuss state-of-the-art technologies, exchange recent developments and new ideas, and share their research experiences in the fields of machining, materials, mechanical engineering and mechatronics. This book collects articles from the 6th NSCME, which was held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (November 2021). It will be helpful to many engineers whose activity is related to materials science, machining technologies, and mechanical engineering.
This volume contains selected papers from the 20th AUTEX World Textile Conference (AUTEX 2021, September 5-9, 2021, Portugal, online). Collected articles present to readers' attention a series of research on actual issues of development of the textile industry and the modern status of fashion design. Particular attention is also devoted to some issues of organisation of textile industry engineers' and fashion designers' education. The presented collection will be helpful for specialists whose activities are related to the textile industry and fashion design.
This volume is a collection of selected papers presented at the Symposium of Science and Technology in the 2nd International Conference on Technology for Sustainable Development (ICTSD 2021, July 27-28, 2021) held by Vocational College Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. The topics of these papers cover industrial and environmental engineering, food and bioresources production technologies, construction and land use, machines and equipment design, applied information technologies, which are designed to accelerate the achievement of sustainable development goals.
The world population keeps increasing, and this growth has enormously impacted the environment negatively. Researchers all over the world have continually seeking different ways by which the negative impact of the global increasing population can be minimized including developing new technologies to accommodate the high population. The use of plastic has increased, wastes are taking land spaces, which could be used for other purposes such as building and farming, water bodies are been polluted leading to poor access to portable water, and food shortage has been experienced in many communities. The research presented in this book cut across Machine Design, Technologies of Environmental Engineering and Bioprocessing, Materials and Technologies in Construction, Information and Communication Technologies, and Engineering and Project Management. These researches if implemented would go a long way in providing sustainable and lasting solutions to these challenges.
