This book collects papers from ICESTA-2021 organized by the Centre of Excellence for Electrical Energy Storage Technology, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta, Indonesia, held online on October 27, 2021. The conference focused on activities related to the development of advanced and state-of-the-art energy storage technologies to support electric vehicles and renewable energy. The collection of papers from ICESTA-2021 comprised in this book dedicates to research on materials used in energy storage and conversion devices including materials synthesizing, optimisation and characterization.
The wide use of additive manufacturing and the development of fuel cell technologies are the mainstream topics in modern machinery and energy supply. Some research results on these issues are presented in a special section of this publication. The book will be interesting for many specialists whose activities are connected to materials and concerned technologies.
Conventional and non-conventional welding technologies, microstructure and mechanical properties of welded connections, technologies of dissimilar joints, bonding and soldering processes, electrochemical processes in fuel cells and biobased corrosion inhibitors are the topics of this volume. Collected articles will be interesting for engineers and researchers in machinery and electrochemical engineering.
This journal issue contains papers submitted at the 8th International Conference on Material Science and Engineering (ICMSE 2021) held in Wuhan, China, on Dec.18-20, 2021. Collected papers present results of novel advances in materials science and applied technologies.
