The 7th Japanese-Mediterranean and Central European Workshop on Applied Electromagnetic Engineering for Magnetic Superconducting and Nano Materials, held on the 6th to 9th July 2011 in Budapest, Hungary, provided a forum where specialists from universities, research centers and industrial concerns in many countries worldwide could establish cooperation, share knowledge and experience and engender the cross-fertilization of new ideas and developments in the design, analysis and utilization of new materials and optimisation techniques in the areas of applied electromagnetics, superconductivity, nanomaterials and their industrial applications in modern technologies in electricity/electronics, transportation, bioengineering, energy and environment.
