In the 34th volume of the Journal of Metastable and Nanocrystalline Materials are collected the papers that present to readers the research results of bainitic and nanobainite steel properties and technologies of their formation, the effect of magnetisation on high-efficiency preparation of electroplated diamond wire saw, functionalised properties of multi-wall carbon nanotube nanocomposites and conducting polymer, the process of adsorption of the brilliant blue by alginate-chitosan nanoparticles in textile wastewater. The presented research results will be helpful to specialists in metallurgy, nanomaterials, functional materials and wastewater treatment.
Volume is indexed by Thomson Reuters CPCI-S (WoS).

Multiferroic shape-memory alloys that exhibit both ferroelastic and ferromagnetic properties have recently attracted much attention. They belong to the family of so-called “smart materials” and are future-generation materials that are likely to be useful in cutting-edge technologies. Apart from the theoretical challenge of understanding their fascinating properties, the quest to harness them for practical use is also attracting many scientists and engineers from all over the world.
This book features 100 refereed papers, grouped under the following six headings: Advanced Synthesis & Characterization Techniques of Materials, Structure & Electron Structure of Solids, Chemistry of Glasses, Novel Inorganic Materials, Layered Compounds, Clathrates & Intercalates, Deposited Films & Surface Chemistry.
Magnetic Materials and Their Applications are among the hot topics of high-tech materials research. With special emphasis on technological applications, the present volume focuses on the following R&D areas:
