Description: Presented in this volume articles describe: the result of the investigation for the possible application of the self-adhesive activated carbon powder derived from coconut coir fiber waste as electrode material in electrochemical energy storage devices, especially supercapacitors; analysis of the recent experience in the use of the functional magnetite nanoparticles to improve nucleic acid separation efficiency, from the perspective of core size, shell coating, and its coupling agent; testing results of the new electrochemically produced catalyst with hydroxyapatite as the hydrolysis catalyst of sodium borohydride to produce hydrogen; development a method for preparing metallic zinc nanoparticle colloidal solutions in protic solvents containing aqueous solvents. This volume will be helpful to a wide range of engineers and scientists whose activity is related to the usage of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies.
