This journal issue contains papers submitted at the 8th International Conference on Material Science and Engineering (ICMSE 2021) held in Wuhan, China, on Dec.18-20, 2021. Collected papers present results of novel advances in materials science and applied technologies.
The volume contains selected peer-reviewed papers presented at the AMS-II Workshop “Advances in Materials Sciences 2021,” which took place in the framework of the II International Conference on Advances in Materials Science and Technologies - CAMSTech-II 2021, on 29-31 July 2021 (Krasnoyarsk, Russian Federation). The presented papers cover recent research results in functional materials, polymer and composite materials, chemical production technologies, metallurgy, metal science, heat treatment and processing of metals and alloys, corrosion protection, surface engineering, functional coatings, some aspects of non-destructive testing, and technological measurements. This volume will be helpful for a wide range of scientists and specialists of research institutes, design organizations, industrial enterprises, and educational institutions interested in materials science and technologies of materials synthesis and processing.
This volume presents the proceedings of the 2021 Spring International Conference on Material Sciences and Technology (MST-S, April 20-22, 2021, Xi’an, China). Collected papers introduce the last scientific research results and the engineering decisions in materials science, metallurgical, and materials processing technologies.
The second volume of the topic series “Superalloys” contains articles published by Trans Tech Publications from 2018 up to 2019. This collection presents a wide range of scientific research results and engineering solutions in the field of alloy developments and performance, physical and mechanical properties, and processing technologies of various types of superalloys. We hope this collection will be beneficial and interesting to a broad audience of researchers and engineers from the area of materials science and engineering.
The first issue of the topic series “Superalloys” contains articles published by Trans Tech Publications in 2017 year. The volume entitled as "Ni-Based Superalloys" provides the readers with a wide range of scientific research results and engineering solutions in the field of development, a study of properties and processing technologies of nickel-based superalloys. We hope this collection will be useful and interesting to a broad audience of researchers and engineers from the area of machinery.
