The 2011 International Forum on Contaminated Sites Remediation aimed to improve Chinese soil environmental science and technology, to promote the development of Chinese contaminated-site management systems based upon risk assessment, to strengthen the engineering application ability of Chinese sustainable environmental restoration and to promote international cooperation and communication in contaminated-site management.
