Smart textile, specific features of fabrics based on conductive polymers, use of special yarn coating for functionalisation of knitted fabric, the improvement of the textile thermal isolation properties, and composite reinforcing by textile materials are some topics of this book.
In this collection are selected papers from the 5th International Conference on Metallurgy Technology and Materials (ICMTM 2017, Xiamen, China, 15-16 April, 2017) which provide the reader an overview of many recent advances in the field related to metallurgy, advanced materials, materials processing technologies as well as in other important branches of modern materials engineering.
