Review from Ringgold Inc., ProtoView:
The 78 papers collected here originated at an August 2011 conference organized by Harbin University. They shed light on the latest Chinese research and applications in developing green, energy-saving, and recyclable printing and packaging materials. The book presents 32 papers on environmentally friendly ink and materials technology; 35 papers on environmentally friendly packaging material technology; and 11 papers on green information record materials. Some areas reported on include the effect of pH on the luminescence properties of green fluorescent ink-jet ink, printing RFID antennas using water-based conductive ink, research on the quality of pre-glued film laminating, and detection of the migration of residual solvents from composite packaging film to food. Other subjects covered include chitosan preservative technology, sheet-fed offset green printing technology, synthesis and characteristics of diazoresins used in waterless printing plates, and the synthesis of ZnO nanoparticles by the direct precipitation method.
