Researchers from Tsinghua University present a porous yttria-stabilized zirconia ceramic made by gelcasting with high solid loading slurry, a direct ink writing assembly for producing 3D functional ceramics, and porous mullite ceramics reinforced by mullite fiber. Volume two explores magnetic and optical ceramics, electrical properties, chemical and energy applications, and bioceramics. Six papers from Beijing Jiaotong University investigate the static seal of magnetic fluid, the properties of magnetic fluids for sensor design, and magnetic fluid dampers.
