Abstract: This article presents the results of an investigation for a new method to form sets of construction machinery. The model for optimizing the set of construction machinery implies the possibility to consider the following: the influence of the quality of operation onto the technical state of the machinery, which is characterized by the readiness factor; costs and reliability of the purchased equipment, new and the used one; influence of capital overhauls; selling machinery and purchasing new one at a higher price; decommissioning old equipment; accompanying economical losses, which is a concealed form of insuring against insufficient reliability of the equipment; optimizing the service life along several criteria – minimum investment, maximum profit, specified level of reliability, period of repayment. This method for optimizing the age structure of the construction machinery set is based on using the method of linear programming. Practical recommendations are also included.

Abstract: Aiming at the actual demand of remote embedded devices to update, a wireless remote update system based on mobile network was designed. This paper presents the application of using general packet radio service (GPRS) to achieve update based on the embedded RTOS uC/OS-II. We describe and explore the main system hardware circuit diagram and software flow frame, the detailed process of updating and the measures to improve the stability of the system. Experimental results show that the designed system has good stability and extensive adaptability.

Abstract: As a powerful simulation tool, simulink being increasingly used in modern design, yet one distinctive feature of modern design is that they need to be updated frequently [1,2]. Take the control strategy blocks for example, the paper present a method to update the blocks including mdl files and m files automatically by writing script using Matlab. After the update work it will record the work log automatically, during the update process it also checks the potential errors made by human to make sure the update work is correct. It is a convenient and reliable method to update the simulink blocks.

Abstract: The Infineon AUDO FUTURE series micro-controller is widely applied in automobile power system, to solve the online programming problem, paper designed online upgrade system for Infineon AUDO FUTURE series MCU based on CAN Bus, which uses IAP technique to realize triggering bootloader without adding any hardware. Since all ECUs in vehicle are connected to CAN Bus which use ISO15765 protocol to communicate with each other, the entire download process paper designed follow the ISO15765 protocol. This system is suitable for any chip of this series and paper test it based on TC1767. The experimental result shows that this system has strong reliability with high efficiency.

Abstract: To solve the problem of updating the software for Vehicle Fault Diagnose Instrument frequently, paper proposed an approach to realize the technology of parsing and matching vehicle diagnostic information based on XML database. Paper discussed the theory and process of the approach and used it to develop the Vehicle Diagnose Instrument based on Android OS. The testing result shows that this approach could be easily realized and improved the efficiency of updating the vehicle information.

Abstract: In order to resolve the inefficiency for XML data query and support dynamic updates, etc, this paper has proposed an improved method to encode XML document nodes. On the basic of region encoding and the prefix encoding, it introduces a XML document coding schema base on binary (CSBB). The CSBB code use binary encoding strategy and make the bit string inserted in order. The bit string inserted algorithm can generate ordered bit string to reserve space for the inserted new nodes, and not influence on the others. Experiments shows the CSBB code can effectively avoid re-encoding of nodes, and supports the nodes Dynamic Update.

This project provides solutions for intelligent terminal based on the Android platform content management system, providing quick, accurate and comprehensive search experience of the intelligent terminal resources. System provides keyword search service based on user configuration, user input keyword, the system can find out in a very short period of time all of the resources of the device that contains the keyword information. In addition, the system also provides online user data synchronization, and data backup.

Abstract: The traditional metadata cluster write reliability was guaranteed by the large journals. If suddenly the system is powered down, the system crashes, failure of the storage medium bit error in the incident of writing the data and it could cause a loss of metadata and resulting in corruption of the reliability. This will have a huge negative impact on the user application. In this paper we propose a method of Asymmetric Based Update Strategy (ABUS), which can be a good safeguard to keep reliable of the metadata update and can solve the problem of inconsistent between the memory and the disk. It can effectively increasing the metadata cluster update reliability by the way of self-healing in the case of failure and ensure the efficiency of the metadata I/O.

Abstract: This paper introduces a Load-balancing Clustering Algorithm of WSN for Data Gathering (LCA-DG), so that the energy is distributed evenly between each cluster, thus prolonging the lifetime of network. A fast local maintenance and update algorithm is proposed on the basis of the optimization algorithm in this article, to make sure that the network will be able to restore quickly and operate normally after adding or removing nodes, so that this algorithm has good expansibility and self-recovery ability, and more in line with the needs of practical application.

Abstract: Distribution, formation ways and seedlings regeneration characteristics of forest gaps were studied on Schima superba forest after the snowstorm disturbance in Jianglang Mountain, Zhejiang Province, which would provide scientific basis for the community regeneration and post-disaster recovery. The results showed that: the forest gaps area with 50~100m2 of most expanded gaps occupied the highest percentage in number (45.0% of the total), which also occupied the highest percentage in size (30.3% of the total), while the canopy forest gaps area of 25~50m2 occupied the highest percentage in number and size (50% of the total and 36.39% of the total). The most important way of forest gaps formation was breakage on trunk, and the secondly important way was uprooting. In different sizes forest gaps, regeneration density of Schima superba showed a single peak changes with the increasing of forest gaps size and the regeneration density of the middle area forests gaps was most.
