NEW OPEN-ACCESS JOURNAL: Engineering Innovations - First Volume is available from March 2022!

Engineering Innovations (p-ISSN 2813-0995; e-ISSN 2813-1002)
Editors-in-Chief: Prof. Afrooz Barnoush from the Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute (Qatar) and Prof. Elena Gordo Odériz of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Materials Science and Engineering Department in Madrid (Spain)
In 2022 we start publishing a new journal for contributions in Engineering Innovations, which is a companion to the highly recognized peer-reviewed Journal of Engineering Research in Africa. Along with the traditional fields of engineering studies, the journal Engineering Innovations also focuses on niche areas in engineering development such as:
aerospace and aviation, nanotechnologies, communication engineering, digital technologies, high-tech production, bio-technologies and biomedical engineering; integrated projects related to construction, development of sustainable transportation and urban infrastructures, productive agro- and food production; design of the technological and production systems (management of digital manufacturing, including supply chains, operations management, automated production); sustainability and ecological compatibility of modern production (clean technologies in energetic, hydrogen and fuel cells in the energy transition, zero-carbon manufacture, deep waste recycling, technologies of environmental recovery and water treatment, lean manufacturing).
Call for Papers: The journal accepts stand-alone articles, is peer-reviewed and considers for publication the full-length papers in the form of scientific or review articles, research communications, or analysis of scientific news and views. The articles are published Open Access under Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0).
The first volume of this journal presents results on the investigation of the characteristics of polycrystalline silicon thin film for solar cells and the development of the electrical model of an electrochemical cell with solid polymer electrolyte. The volume also presents the results of an experimental investigation of the thermal performance of the smart passive cooling roof system for residential buildings.
Readers can also look at the results of the design and experimental investigation of cube satellite, pico hydro generator for the low energy consumption, and agricultural drone. The structural elements of these devices were produced by 3D printing technologies.
Main KeyWords of the first volume: Solar Cell, Thin Film, Polycrystalline Silicon, Solid Polymer Electrolyte, Electrochemical Cell, Electrical Model, 3D Printing, Cube Satellite, Pico Hydro Generator, Pelton Turbine, Agricultural Drone, Computer-Aided Design, Passive Cool Roof, Thermal Performance
