TTP / www.scientific.net Easy Ways of Access

TTP follows its ambition to make access to its content as easy as possible for students, faculty staff and other interested visitors. Where ever they wish to connect, TTP enables connection to the Scientific.Net database via the following ways:

1. IP Address Authentication (IPv4)
Benefit: Users gain access based on their computer or site IP address (numerical address), making access much easier – no need for user IDs and passwords.

2. SSO Authentication (now supported by next federations: eduGAIN, OpenAthens, UK Access Management, InCommon, SWAMID, SWITCHaai, and DFN-AAI). SAML protocols: OpenAthens, Shibboleth
Benefit: Single password for customers to remember, the same for all of your applications.

3. Authentication by Scientific.NET user login and password
Benefit: Password authentication ensures a high level of security relying on a secret value that is known solely to you.

4. Google Scholar CASA to provide authentication enhancement that improves the authentication for off-campus users of Google Scholar
Benefit: Campus Activated Subscriber Access is a free enhancement that enables seamless off-site and mobile access to your institution's subscribed content. IP-authenticated access is required.
