Abstract:
The present paper shows the geometrical representation of the ellipsoid of rotation and hyperboloid of rotation and solves certain geometrical problems of them, with applications in technique.The contribution brought by this paper represents the synthesis and comparison between the solving through analytical and descriptive methods of building tangent planes and the intersections of these categories of quadrics with lines.
