Experimental Studies Regarding the Influence of Cutting Parameters on Tool Temperature in Milling Process of Aluminum Alloys

Article Preview

Abstract:

In this paper, the authors present the influence of cutting parameters, depth of cut, rotational speed and speed feed on the process temperature for milling of three types of aluminum alloys. In order to measure the temperature, an adequate experimental setup was used. This experimental setup consists in a noncontact infrared thermometer.
