Design and Dynamic Analysis of Horn for Ultrasonic Polishing

Article Preview

Abstract:

Ultrasonic polishing is an effective method to solve the bottleneck of polishing the mold cavity in mold processing, and the performance of ultrasonic horn is of utmost importance for the ultrasonic machining. In this paper the horn applicable to automatic ultrasonic polishing equipment is designed based on horn design theory, as well modal analysis and harmonic response analysis of four types of horn are carried out using Finite Element Analysis technique, which provides the basis and reference for further theoretical research and actual processing
