Optimization for the Specification of a New Type of Optical Disk Concerning about its Tracking Signal

Article Preview

Abstract:

15GB optical disk, or Next Generation Versatile Disk (NVD), is a new type of disk handling the high definition video in China. In this paper, its specifications are optimized for commercialize concerning about the tracking signal. Then a new specification with robust tracking signal and reasonable pit/track ratio is proposed for NVD.
