Abstract: This research was to predict the life of vehicle components on an uneven random road. Flexible-body dynamic simulation was used for dynamic simulation and stress recovery. Based on the stress obtained from dynamic simulation, a fatigue life prediction was implemented. This process combined dynamic simulations and finite element analyses (FEA), including the interaction between dynamic forces and structure deformation. Comparing with traditional approach, dynamic and FEA calculation performed in sequence and separately, the proposed process could obtain more accurate structure stresses and better fatigue life prediction. With that, the production development time and cost could be significantly reduced.

Abstract: Flaking failure of bearings is caused by crack growth and stress concentration. The contact conditions between ball, retainer and race affect the durability of the bearings. Non-destructive methods that can be related to contact conditions are necessary to study and understand the phenomena caused by the contact stresses. In the present work, a scanning Hall probe microscope (SHPM) equipped with a GaAs film sensor was used to observe the asymmetric distribution of three-dimensional magnetic fields in bearing steel plates (JIS-SUJ2) before and after light load contact tests of 19.6N. It was found that only vertical components of the magnetic fields are slightly affected by the spherical Hertzian contact. Furthermore, the change in the three-dimensional magnetic fields is asymmetric to the contact center and magnetization center.

Abstract: In order to obtain a two-dimension trajectory correction method based on mature and simple technologies, a simple correction method was proposed. On these basis, spin control, lift and static margin control have been evaluated by identify relevant parameters acting on range and deflection. The correction capability that they offer has been compared by means of a six DOF simulation in the case of a 122mm low spin rocket. The calculation results show that this control method is able to realize the function of two-dimension trajectory correction.

Abstract: Many factors may lead to internal structure of travelling crane injured when it is working. Therefore, it is an important problem of industry safety to detect the main girder. In this paper, a non-destructive testing method is presented. The white noise on the main girder was generated with artificial incentive. Special PVDF piezoelectric film sensor was used to detect the change of resonant frequency of main girder of traveling crane and the frequency was analyzed to judge the non-destructive health status of the main girder. The experiment results show that traveling crane survey method based on PVDF piezoelectric film sensor has a good accuracy and feasibility.

Abstract: The accelerate of urbanization process in our country, because of the raising of water consumption, causing the urban domestic sewage increases, the rate of urban domestic sewage tackle is barely 57.4% in 2008. Using the experience of international domestic sewage tackle as a resource of reference, considering the residential community domestic sewage dispersion tackle is a effective way, and analysing the water quantity balance, tackle technics choose and economical efficiency combined with engineering project, finally to table a proposal for the residential community domestic sewage tackle and recycling .

Abstract: In the cognitive radio system allocation algorithm based on graph theory is always research focus at home and abroad. Cognitive radio users choose main users’ spectrum which don’t use spectrum, but the available spectrum is affected on main users’ work state, location, and coverage, with the changing nature of space and time. Therefore, graph theory model analyzes spectrum allocation in the cognitive radio system, which revises constraint conditions and distribution targets of spectrum allocation. This paper summarizes the principle of existing allocation algorithm on graph theory model on cognitive radio system and analyzes some deficiencies and lays a foundation for learning theories in future.

Abstract: As a new technology, digital microfluidic chip based on EWOD (Electrowetting on Dielectric) has good prospect of application in biological, medical, chemical and optic fields. Firstly, the working principle is introduced. Then the major application domains are summarized. Finally, the key problems in design and two fabrication methods are discussed, the clean-room-processing chip is more precise and PCB(Printed Circuit Board) chip is cheaper. New technologies developed in these fields speed up the step from lab to commercial application.

Abstract: A computer model for a TBD234V12 marine high-speed diesel engine with 2 turbocharger(2TC) is built on GT-POWER. For validating the computer model, a calculation to the conventional turbocharging system has been done firstly, and the results show good agreement with experimental data. The computer model has then been used for predictive studies of the diesel engine with the proposed STC system on the mapping characteristics. From these results, it can be seen that the STC system can not only improve the part load performance of the diesel engine obviously, but also enlarge the operating range of the marine diesel engine.
