The Experiments and Simulation of Titanium Cutting Based on AdvantEdge Software

Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper do an experiment about titanium cutting with nine different parameters to analysis the effect of the tools to the cutting processing. We use the AdvantEdge to simulate cutting processing before the experiment. After the simulation, we can get the cutting force of each tool parameters. Then we do the experiment in the machine. During the experiment, we collected the cutting force, observing the tool condition. The result, show how the tool parameters effect the cutting force.
