Research on Product Shared Information Semantic Model in Digital Design

Abstract:

In order to support knowledge representation and utilization, a framework of a “product shared information semantic model” is proposed. A method to describe the knowledge of a product is presented according to the framework, including a structure description in OWL and a behavior representation in OWL-S. And a description example about a warhead is given. It shows that the application of OWL and OWL-S can significantly benefit knowledge sharing and reuse in the process of digital design.
