Simplify Analysis on Anti-Continuity Collapsed Frame Structure of Isolation Bearings and Non-Isolation Bearings

Article Preview

Abstract:

Base isolation is an effective measure of anti-progressive collapse in frame structure. This article contrastive analysis the earthquake resistance of structure which have isolation bearings and which have not isolation bearings by the use of static analysis, and then use the discrete element method to establish simplified model about the system of base isolation. It also research the isolated effect under horizontal seismic force after the middle column failed .The conclusion that we get in this paper have practical significance in engineering.
