Abstract: In computer vision-based Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), one of the key techniques is to detect the vehicles accurately. In this paper, we propose a background extraction and vehicle detection method based on histogram in YCbCr color space. By using YCbCr color space, the influence of illumination change and shadows is reduced. To solve the problem with change in background itself, we propose a background update method by using the pixel change count and histogram. Experiment results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively extract and update the background information in complicated urban traffic environment. It also improves the accuracy of vehicle detection.

Abstract: Microstrip antenna exhibits unique properties that have led to wide range of application. The frequency is the most important factor in antenna engineering. However, antenna resonant frequency is determined by various factors. This paper focuses on some of these parameters, and studies have also been performed to obtain design guidelines for patch antenna. Parameters involved vary from -40% to +40% compare to the selected dimensions as a criterion, and the frequency shifts have been obtained, Comparatively, the patch length plays the most important rule on antenna frequency. The feed point location and substrate thickness take a little effect in quantity, and substrate thickness also works on antenna operating frequency. Experimental data and results analyzed are useful for antenna design.

Abstract: A new rapid computation method for Kalman filtering is proposed. In this method, the prediction of state covariance matrix is expanded directly rather than computing by a looping program. Sequential filtering for measurement update is also applied. Furthermore, the subsidiary elements in system matrix are set to zero and a reduced-dimensions sub-optimal Kalman filter is presented. The proposed method greatly decreases computational burden and it is only 6.59% of the classic method. In the end, a vehicular test is carried out to prove the feasibility of the filtering.

Abstract: Accurate detection of zero point is significant for improving working performance and measurement accuracy of Coriolis Mass Flowmeter. In this paper, wavelet transform technology is adopted to form the pre-filter to suppress noise jamming, to get sensor’s zero point precisely in working condition. Implementation scheme of software and hardware is given, correlative simulation and field experiment are carried out to verify the feasibility of the method.

Abstract: This paper studies the symmetry about the projection data of parallel beam and fan beam after rearrangement, and studies the reconstruction principle of the parallel beam and fan beam rearrangement, and realizes it by MATLAB simulation. This paper also discusses the application of symmetry in the two-dimensional reconstruction of CT.

Abstract: Fast and convenient configuration of the industrial equipment will help engineers to complete their work more efficiently in the industrial field. At present, most industrial equipment is configurated by a personal computer with specific configuration software. A design method for portable configuration equipment is proposed, which uses the Samsung S3C2440 SoC chip and develops the configuration software based on the Microsoft WinCE operating system. Compared with the previous industrial control computer, this equipment has the following merits: low consumption, miniaturization, expandability and intellectualization, which has been applied successfully in Xi’an Xianyang Kunning Microelectronics Institute for its isolated KN5000 Series product configuration.

Abstract: In order to meet the needs of telemetry test system parameters testing, we propose FPGA based on telemetry data acquisition system's overall design, and describe the methods and processes of the collection of analog signal and the reception of digital signal in detail. According to the sampling rate of the slow-changing and the rapid-changing, the frame structure is designed. Under the control of PC, data collection and coding are achived by FPGA, and real-time monitoring of data is achived through testing platform and data storage is achived by data recorders to monitor and implement, and modelsim software simulates the timing of the program. After the application of the practice, the stability and reliability of the collection system get confirmed.

Abstract: Based on the steady current field model of the point electrode in the three-layers media (air-seawater-seabed), the calculation model of the magnetic field generated by the current in the seawater or air was derived and validated, and the model was spread out to the distributing of magnetic field in the insulation semi-space of the n-layers media. Any point value of the magnetic field in the seawater and air can be calculated based on formulas. The results of the calculation indicated that the magnetic field generated by the point electrode in the seawater and air has obvious distribution character.

Abstract: When the products are withdrawn from the market, some capacity is reserved for a certain time because the manufacturer is responsible for providing after-sale service during the entire quality guarantee period. We consider a capacity reservation problem of a semiconductor manufacturer with two kinds of products and the corresponding demands are random. The demands can be substituted when one type of capacity has been depleted. The optimization goal is to determine the reserved capacity for each type of product. The problem is formulated by a stochastic programming model in which the objective is to minimize the total service cost of the manufacturer. We show that the concavity and convexity of the optimal function is depended on the joint distribution function density of the products. An iterative algorithm is designed to find the optimal capacity conservation quantities and a numerical experiment is used to illustrate its effectiveness.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the optional flow chart for different kinds of tests based on hybrid diagnostic modeling technique. Furthermore, combining with varied diagnostic tests, we use the modified particle swarm algorithm (PSO) to improve the disadvantages of the traditional fault diagnosis and tests (FDT). According to the result of the filter experiment, the proposed method performs better and requires for lower ability of computation and takes less time for testing. The method can effectively optimize FDT.
