Abstract: A variable gear measuring method was put forward in order to define the error of eccentricity of the zero-tooth-difference internal gear, which was based on the three-coordinate measuring machine. This method can scan the coordinate of tooth profile automatically and fleetly, then by calculating the difference of the tooth profile curve between the theory and reality, and achieving the measure on line about geared ring radial runout to define the error of eccentricity. The results of this experiment and theoretic analysis showed that the method which was putted forward has many advantages, like the density of sampling is big, the calculation is simple, the measure is accurate, and the human factors are very little.

Abstract: Based on the Maxwell equation and simulation analysis method, this paper investigates and retains the optimized parameters of a high-speed solenoid valve, which is very important for electrical unit pump (EUP) diesels. According to the electromagnetic theory, firstly, a three-dimensional (3D) model of the solenoid valve is established, and working process of the electromagnets is analyzed by using both the theoretical method and Ansys Workbench software. In view of the electromagnetic force, furthermore, several parameters related to the solenoid valve performance are considered and their effects on solenoid valve are analyzed and discussed. Finally, the optimized parameters are proposed for the analyzed solenoid valve and proved by theoretical equations. The studied approach can be extended to any other field related to the electromagnetic device design.

Abstract: In ultrasonic CT of concrete structure, ray tracing technology based on SNELL principle is far more meet the characteristics of ultrasonic propagation. Inversion algorithm of tomography imaging is to solve large sparse equations. Simultaneous iterative reconstruction technique (SIRT) algorithm solves the problem from the mathematical view. According to engineering application, A improved imaging reconstruction method is proposed in the basis. During the data processing of simulation, the data weighting matrix is introduced to increase the proportion of effective information firstly; And then the units without ray passing through is merged with its adjacent units so that the slow-wave in reconstruction section could be changed smoothly by using unit merger method and ensure high resolution in middle section; And finally the image of CT reconstruction is obtained. Simulation results show that the improved algorithm is effective and could meet engineering requirement.

Abstract: FEA software ANSYS Workbench is used for the static finite element analysis of a cross helical gear meshing model, the stress, strain, and the factor of safety on this model are calculated. Modal analysis with 6 main natural frequencies and vibration shape is conducted and analyzed to study dynamic characteristics of the transmission line. This work provides a reliable reference to design a high reliable system of crossed helical gear transmissions for our new developed tool head in multifunction lathe.

Abstract: The paper introduces the working principle of a logging instrument, and according to the working principle and instrument’s function of two-way hydraulic control valve. Facing to the key problems of process equipment in the actual service and workflow, the structure of value was designed and optimized. According to the basic functions and physical model of dual-channel and two-way hydraulic control valves, we used hydraulic system simulation software to establish the mathematical model of the entire system. Besides, we maked the simulation of the running state based on the Running results. At the same time, on the grounds of theoretical calculations and simulation results, the influences of the body affected by the external factors in work environment were assessed, and the logging instrument with a dual-channel and two-way hydraulic control valve is designed and processed. Meanwhile, we build an experimental platform and make the experiment according to principle of the instrument. The results show that the design of this dual-channel and two-way hydraulic control valve logging instrument met the work requirements, and it has high reliability in oil exploration, which could be promoted and used in logging areas.

Abstract: Feasibility on tilt double steel arch tower segment cantilever assembling at the site is analyzed by finite element simulation, and the steel arch tower deformation and stress of each step during segment cantilever assembling process are gotten, the cantilever assembling program is improved by adjustment of the first time tension of the horizontal cables and temporary cables. These results are successfully used to control deformation and stress of steel arch tower during segment cantilever assembling, which provides the correct of simulation analysis and pioneers a new approach of similar projects design and construction.

Abstract: When the nuts are tightened on the big bore diesel engine through the hydraulic tensioner, the preloaded forces imposed on the studs are often less than the design values. In order to get the difference, finite element method was introduced and stress analysis was implemented in Abaqus. Meanwhile the finite element model was modified based on the real test result. Eventually reliable difference results were obtained and the modified model could be applied in the other research.

Abstract: An analytical model is developed to study the sealing performance of the mechanical seals with a laser-textured micro-pore face. The pressure distribution between the seal faces at various operation conditions and micro-pore geometry parameters can be obtained from a solution of the Reynolds equation by finite difference method, and then opening force and liquid film stiffness can be calculated. Seal face geometry parameters can be optimized by analyzing regulation of their effect on opening force and liquid film stiffness. Results of parametric study demonstrate that substantial hydrodynamic effect can be produced on the seal face with micro-pores.

Abstract: A scheme of drilling robot, which is propelled by the screw mechanism, is proposed for subsurface exploration. Firstly, in order to analyze the forces acting on the screw, theoretical model for the working principle of the robot is built, and by this model the soil friction moment, propelling and resisting forces can be calculated. Secondly, with the help of ANSYS/LS-DYNA, the dynamic numerical simulation of the interaction between the screw mechanism and the soil is conducted and the results verify the feasibility of the screw propelling method for the robot.
