Abstract: Architecture leads the design trend, and the digital is the trend of the architecture. In the process of digital, the designer's original remains unshakable, but the derivative type design based on the traditional rules, the performance driving type design which is the starting point of performance and the integration design which gathers the both before in one are being used in the design of digital architecture. At the same time, the digital architecture is also and must also be related with the green design, the ecological design and many social, economic and cultural factors.

Abstract: GuiYang Hongfenghu bridge health monitoring system was designed in this paper. The strain of girder was monitored by FBG sensors and cable force was monitored by piezoelectric accelerometer, meanwhile vertical motion of girder was monitored by vibration accelerometer and inclinator was applied to tower offset monitoring. Then, the information of multi-heterogeneity sensors was integrated to remote monitor by optical fiber transmission.

Abstract: The 5•12 Wenchuan earthquake was in M8.0, Mianyang felt strongly. Majority of the buildings have varied at different degrees of damage, especially in masonry-frame structures, Which reinforcement cost much higher for repairing; The 1200 buildings in Mianyang city or it’s Suburbs were surveyed. The results showed: masonry suffered much heavier damage and masonry-frame of the mixed structure by designing, which damage were significantly lower than without seismic design. Realization of the earthquake will not be collapsed, and after a simple repair it can be used. Buildings that suffered heavy damage which combined with the relevant code requirements and research in the past, adopt specific measures for strengthening the houses.

Abstract: Various challenges should be considered in the development of an effective model for the planning and control of high-rise building construction. These challenges have been identified as results of the construction process. This paper discusses the engineering planning and management control in high-rise building construction. The methodology should also be able to address the concerns and considerations regularly faced in the industry and thus providing flexible modeling, which can be used by different levels of management

Abstract: Based on the structure features of double reticulated domes, a method for node generation and element connection of six typical double reticulated domes was produced. A macro program was designed by using ANSYS Parametric Design Language (APDL). The six typical double reticulated dome modeling was produced under given parameters such as span, rise high, double thickness, grid number in circular and radial direction. It is proved by several examples that this method is simple, efficient and possible. It can be easily used to analyze the internal force and optimized design in shell structures.

Abstract: At present, although the saddle plate is widely used in roof structures of single-storey industrial buildings, the seismic analysis on single-storey industrial buildings with roof of saddle plate in different span is rare. In this paper, we study the structure’s response to the frequent earthquakes and rare earthquakes by ANSYS software. We also discuss the influence on vibration characteristics and the seismic response caused by the change of saddle plate’s span. We draw the conclusion that with the increase of the span, the natural vibration period of the structure, the displacement on the top of columns and the shear force at the bottom of columns increase; but the increase rate decreases with the increase of the span. The conclusions will give a reference to the seismic design of single-storey industrial buildings with saddle plates.

Abstract: “Code for seismic design of buildings”(GB50011-2010)prescribes that for the structure above the isolation layer, seismic intensity can be reduced less than 1 degree when the horizontal damping coefficient is not less than 0.40. Research of seismic performance between non-isolated and isolated frame structures designed based on this rule has not been found. In this paper, 1/3 scale models of a non-isolated and an isolated frame structure are built and shaking table test is conducted to investigate seismic response and damage of structures. Test reveals that isolated structure occurs little damage under different seismic intensity, while damage of non-isolated structure is gradually increasing with the seismic intensity increases and the location of damage is mainly concentrated in the beam end.

Abstract: Using Airpak as CFD tool, the study simulates and analyses how the openings and thermal characteristics of the clad façade work on the distribution of temperature and ventilation in the atrium of a high-rise building in Shenzhen. The result shows that, with the atrium roof open to the air, openings on the lower part of the clad façade can significantly improve air ventilation and reduce the temperature in the atrium in summer. It is also found that clad glazing of large U-value and large SHGC helps to release the residual heat in the atrium, which make laminated glass made of clear float glass smart choice for the clad glazing of the building.

Abstract: When the bridges broaden with seamless technology, there are differences between the existing bridge and the new bridge in design, construction and service. Because of concrete creep and shrinkage, temperature effect and prestress loss, there are stress defects in the seam, which will affect the service and safety. The current methods for the seam in foreign and domestic, such as plant steel and semi-rigid connection method are passive measures based on structure exiting state, which cannot ensure the long-term performance of the seam.
