FEA Forming Simulation of Thickness Nonliner Blanks

Abstract:

Thickness Nonliner Blank (TNLB) is forming by flexible rolling system and is superior to Tailor Rolled Blank(TRB),the thickness of TNLB belongs to nonperiodic, it can be used to make automobile panels for reducing material and lower light-weight. The rolling process model of TNLB was presented and rolling simulation model of TNLB was built by Deform,the better match for the rolling speed and roll vertical speed is the key to get the target curve, the comparison between simulation curve and target profile curve was discussed the influence of rolling by different parameters such angular velocity and vertical velocity aimming at decreased Zone. the factors of each sections during rolling were analyzed. This research results show that these will put forward references for TNLB rolling and widen the connotations of TRB.
