Video Clips Classification with Hierarchical Approach

Abstract:

Clips classification, Hierarchical tree, low-level descriptors. Video sections Abstract. In this paper, we propose an approach with hierarchical tree for clips classification in broadcast soccer video. In this method, video frames are firstly classified and grouped into sections, and the sections are divided into clips. Then we can use the low-level descriptors to classify the clips. Low-level descriptions include color, motion descriptor and edge descriptor. Experiments on real soccer video programs show the encouraging results.
