The Analysis of Different Head Shape’s Projectile Penetration Characteristics

Article Preview

Abstract:

By using the ANSYS/LS-DYNA software, to get trajectory map, overload curve of projectile penetrating and depth curves after doing numerical simulation of projectile oblique penetration course targets at head shape of 30 ° and 60 ° cone angle, and also in parabolic separately. The simulation results summarize the law of motion and motion characteristics of projectile head shape, when it obliquely penetrates into the soil, which puts forwards some references for projectile designs.
