Finite Element Analysis on Working Mechanism of Hydraulic Excavator

Abstract:

On the basis of working characters, taking a hydraulic excavator as an example, an integrated and refined finite element model of working mechanism was established. Selected four typical working conditions, the strength analysis was made for the assembled working mechanism. According to the finite element analysis, the structure of the working mechanism was improved. The improved working mechanism met the required strength design after increasing the hydraulic system pressure.The results show that this analysis method of working mechanism can provide reference for the excavator working mechanism design.
