Abstract: In this paper, a design method of high-speed, real-time digital pulse compression module based on Xilinx FPGA devices and Monbit receiver is introduced. A novel changeable-points of 256 or 1024 for three channels Digital Pulse Compression(DPC) with realizing FFT , complex-multiplication and IFFT function are presented which is accomplished by FPGA. A top-down flow has been used in the system. The whole design, which characters high stability, small logic resource occupation, low power consumption, is implemented with only one chip of FPGA XC2V500-5 for one channel. It takes 73.31us to complete a 1024-point DPC. Compared with the MATLAB simulation results, our module can accomplish function of 32k points digital pulse compression of 200MSPS throughput.

Abstract: In the cellular networks, a new adaptive Discontinuous Receiving (DRX) scheme is proposed to improve the power saving. In the traditional DRX, the channel monitoring period is fixed, it will waste some energy to monitor channel when there is no data in a long period of time. In this paper, the support vector machine (SVM) is used for traffic prediction, which can predict the data packets arrival time. Then based on this prediction, the monitoring cycle of the DRX is adaptive with the traffic flow. According to prediction result, the sleep period of the receiver will be extended to avoid unnecessary waking up during the idle time. This traffic-aware DRX scheme can reduce consumed power for channel monitoring. The reduction of monitoring channel depends on the prediction accuracy, which has been verified by the simulation results. The simulation results also show that the proposed scheme is effective for power saving.

Abstract: In order to study the effects of the parameters from the array antenna on MIMO channel spatial correlation and channel capacity. In this paper, the spatial correlation between the transceivers at both ends of the antenna array for MIMO channel was theoretically analyzed with a random wireless MIMO channel model based on an intuitive physical meaning, as well as antenna spacing, the wave angle of arrival, angle expansion space parameters on MIMO channel spatial correlation and channel capacity were analyzed, and which was described through simulation experiments. The computer simulation results show that the theoretical analysis is correct and reasonable.

Abstract: At present, in the processing of ship hazardous chemical accident, rescuers get directly into the scene of the accident for information access, which threaten rescuers’ safety. In order to solve the disadvantages, this paper designs a remote control aircraft carrying camera into the scene. Through the remote control system, with the video image information collection, thereby avoiding the sampling personnel directly exposed to the dangerous chemicals accident condition, which reduce the risk of injuries.

Abstract: This paper describes the design of a 40 Gb/s transimpedance amplifier (TIA) for high-density optical fiber communication system. This TIA incorporates modified regulated cascode (RGC), three order intersecting active feedback and passive feedback. Consuming a DC power of 14.5 mW, the single-ended circuit provides a transimpedance gain of 49.5 dB and a -3dB bandwidth up to 40 GHz in IBM 90-nm CMOS technology with a 1.2 V supply. Simulation results show the equivalent input noise current integrated from 1 MHz to 30 GHz is about 6.6 Arms

Abstract: The growing interest of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) applications has seen problems emerging in the identification of object, especially those that contain conductive material. A low-cost novel tag antenna for a RFID tag which could be mounted on the side of cigarette carton is proposed in this paper. Since the cigarette carton contains conductive material, radiation properties of the antenna could be affected significantly. The specific parameters of the antenna were optimized based on the Finite Element Method (FEM). The performance of the tag antenna design affixed to the cigarette carton containing metallic foil is verified with read range measurements. The proposed antenna has a simulated bandwidth from 863 MHz to 943 MHz ( < -10 dB) for conjugate-matching with a commercial tag chip.

Abstract: This paper addresses a robust adaptive control system based on Popov hyper-stability theory, which has strong robustness for the particular structure. Introducing the error between model and controlled object into adaptive controller, the system has accurate tracking capability and the convergence even in the presence of external disturbances and uncertainties. Simulations results are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed robust adaptive control law in comparison with PID control.
