Full Software CNC System for Line Contact Milling

Abstract:

A new method of CNC system for line contact milling is proposed based on full software. In the method the composite interpolation processing is put forward to process space ruled surface. Line contact method is studied to improve surface processing efficient. Full software CNC is designed to the processing. Based on the data of composite interpolation procedures in VC, space graphics can be generated in Matlab. The result shows that it is possible to process space complex curved surface.
