Applying the Technology of Internet of Things to Urban Pipeline Gas Metering via Mobile Data Acquisition

Abstract:

To improve the urban pipeline gas supply service, IoT technology is introduced to sense the user terminal gas consumption state which the SCADA system can not solve. In the existed application technology of IoT to urban gas metering, there exist difficulties of installing, power supplying and maintaining of concentrators. The mobile data acquisition based IoT application system to urban pipeline gas metering is presented and the mobile data acquisition terminal has been described in detail.
