Abstract: In order to improve the dynamic performance of inverter and the output voltage waveform quality, the double-loop control combination with internal current loop and external voltage loop is introduced. The inner loop is used for improving the dynamic performance of the system and rapidly eliminating the effects of load disturbance; the outer loop is used for improving static performance of the system. In the end, MATLAB / Simulink is carried out to build the system model and prove the feasibility of the dual closed-loop control structure in this paper.

Abstract: A holographic optical tweezers platform was built and a multi-plane adaptive-additive algorithm was used to generating holograms for the reconstruction of optical traps in three-dimensional (3D) spaces. Experiments of manipulating cells were conducted on such platform and complex 3D structures were built with yeast cells. The results demonstrate that holographic optical tweezers can manipulate groups of cells in three dimensions and effectively trap and separate cells in the direction of the optic axis without harming the cells. Based on those versatile functions, it is proved that holographic optical tweezers is a powerful tool for single cell analysis.

Abstract: This paper demonstrates application of laser confocal scanning microscope system for fair-face concrete surface evaluation. Measure system presents a new generation optical system for identification and description of esthetical imperfections of various building materials. System enables 3D observation and high-precision 3D measurement in real time.

Abstract: Display meter is the basic unit of automation system. In order to improve the performance and the compatibility of display meter, a design of intelligent display meter based on ARM is put forward. The Micro Control Unit (MCU) STM32F103VE based on the 32 bit ARM Cortex–M3 core is used as the host controller of the meter system. On the basis of this controller, hardware and software design were carried out. The intelligent display meter can receive voltage and current signals from most sensors. Because of the excellent processing capability and rich peripherals of the MCU, the meter can handle large amounts of data rapidly so as to monitor the status of industrial field in real time and communicate with different upper computers.

Abstract: Mass spectrometer is one of the most versatile tools in current analytical science, which can perform both qualitative and quantitative chemical identification with high sensitivity, high accuracy and low consumption. Currently, the development of miniature mass spectrometer has received growing interest, since it provides a rapid way for online detection and real-time analysis. Quadrupole analyzer has been widely used in quantitative analysis, and it can be easily miniaturized for the purpose of developing portable mass spectrometers. A portable quadrupole mass spectrometer was developed for in-situ analysis, which can perform both qualitative and quantitative analysis for solid or liquid samples in atmospheric conditions.

Abstract: A remote monitoring and analysis platform based on embedded systems is developed, which adopts ARM-based controller and WinCE operating system, combines with serial communication technology, GPS geo-targeting technology and GPRS remote data communication technology. The data are stored in the database. The platform achieves real-time monitoring and historical inquiry of water quality information, and attains the assessment of water eutrophication.

Abstract: In order to solve the problem of the calibration for the open-channel flow meter; the online calibration equipment was introduced. The velocity-area method was adopted as the measurement principle. The real time velocities and liquid level of different feature points in the open-channel were measured automatically. The flow rate of the open-channel was calculated and the online calibration was done.

Abstract: This paper introduces an automatic Lovibond colorimeter, which is a system of color measuring, the TCS2300D color sensor and STC12C5A60S2 microcontroller are the cores of the system. The color sensor got the data of samples, and sent to microcontroller, by the bilinear interpolation algorithm, data for RGB color space was converted to the Lovibond color space [1], and last displayed on the tubes. The experimental results showed that automatic Lovibond colorimeter had good correlation with the Lovibond visual method, and the data read from the tubes was stable. With the advantages of low cost, simple operation, short measurement period that the colorimeter will be widely applied to the determination of oil color.

This paper puts forward a method of intelligent valve positioner based on C8051F005, and introduces the hardware circuit and the design method of software. Practical results indicate that this design has better performance.

Abstract: The design of multifunctional household electronic medicine-chest is described in this article. It includes two parts: intelligent electronic control unit and the body of the chest. The body of chest consists of 8 drawers and an operation panel. A switch sensor is settled in each drawer to detect whether the drawer is opened and the medicine is taken out. The electronic control unit is used to set and store the information of taking medicine for four members in a family. In order to confirm the information is set correctly, the information of taking medicine can be checked by means of the function of reviewing. According to the set information, it can remind the proper member to take medicine at the set time. A section of voice and a blinking light are used to guide the member to open the corresponding drawer and take out a certain number of medicines. The Medicine-Chest has two power supply modes, an outer power supply and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery supply. A power manage circuit is used to switch between the two supplies and to recharge the battery. The designed multifunctional household electronic medicine-chest is useful for aged people.
