Abstract: In recent years, global environmental problems and energy crisis are highly regarded. The research and development of new energy sources and energy saving are two key ways to solve the potential global energy shortage. The solar energy is important for its cleanliness and unexhausting. The solar water heaters are widely used in domestic hot water supply. The former natural cycle system had a lower performance of heat collection, insulation and convenience as well as conflict with architecture. It is necessary to develop a new style solar water heater in north china. This paper presents an forced circulation solar hot water supply system with spiral copper coil as heat exchanger in heat storage tank and plate solar collectors. It has high collection efficiency and it is consistent with the architecture. The system is full of antifreeze to solve the freezing problem in north china. The experimental study was conducted for solar hot water supply system. The experimental results indicate that the forced circulation solar hot water supply system has superior performance of heat collection and heat transfer. The average heat output is respectively 2.82kWh/m2 in spring, 3.13 kWh/m2 in summer and 2.73 kWh/m2 in autumn. The hot water output is respectively75.3L/m2.d in spring, 81.2 L/m2.d in summer and 56.5 L/m2.d in autumn if the temperature difference is 28°C.In addition, by use of the experimental measured data the long-term thermal performance can be forecast.

Abstract: The IL 1-ethyl-3-methylpyridinium diethyl phosphate ([EPyM][EMP]) and 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate ([EMIM]OAc) were compared in view of thier superority in pretreatment toward accelerating enzymatic hydrolysis of cellulosic biomass, and they could be recyclable. Efficient ionic liquid pretreatments of cellulose can be obtained with short duration times (20 min) at 50-120 °C with [EPyM][EMP] and [EMIM]OAc. And [EPyM][EMP] showed preferable cellulosic biomass pretreatment capability. The short time and mild temperature of cellulose solubilization allowed a in situ processing of [EPyM][EMP] IL-pretreatment and saccharification.

Abstract: A modified ejector model for entrainment ratios calculation is proposed based on the sokolov’s ejector model and experiment data obtained by Huang et al. This model has a good performance in predicting the maximum entrainment ratios of ejectors at design conditions. The computer program base on the model returns maximum entrainment ratios for R141b and R134a at different generation and condensation temperatures. Based on the analysis of the calculation results, it is found that the entrainment ratio increases with the increasing of generation temperature for R141b when the generation temperature is below 100°C, whereas, it reaches maximum at about 85°C for R134a.

Abstract: Designed the large self-anchored ecology block retaining wall program using high strength filter concrete, analyzed and calculated the bottom stability against sliding and overturning, used the finite element to analyze and to calculate the strength and deformation of the retaining wall. This retaining wall can improve the long-term stability of dam body, achieve sustainability, multi-level green, improve the water environment, water purification, protect, recover and improve the original riparian ecosystems, it has a perfect combination of safety, environment, landscape. The self-anchored ecology block retaining wall can produce a good social benefit and ecological benefit. This conclusion is available for future study and design.

Abstract: This article analyses the statistical data of questionnaires about low carbon building awareness of Jiaxing City residents, and concludes three points as following. Firstly, residents get low carbon building information from internet, television, magazines and so on, which gives them a hand to develop a sense of low carbon building. Secondly, the residences also have a relatively high degree of cognitive about the effect of low carbon buildings to both the environment and economy. Thirdly, as the price of low carbon building is more expensive than ordinary buildings, citizens do not have a strong realistic desire to purse low carbon buildings. However, it can not be neglected that the higher annual household income the stronger willing of purchasing low carbon building. Under these circumstances, it is an ideal way for government to carry on more incentive policies not only to support developer to develop low carbon building but also encourage citizen to purchase low carbon buildings.

Abstract: With the rapid increase of urban motor vehicles, the traffic pollution in Hohhot is becoming more and more observable. In this paper, it analyzed Hohhot’s traffic pollution data of late years, then combined the relevant causes and proposed some low-carbon countermeasures to control its traffic pollution.

Abstract: In recent years, the landscape water of Anqing Ling Lake scenic area became severe eutrophication, resulting in the destruction of the ecological balance. The eigenvalues of nature reserve in the wetland along the Yangtze River in Anqing such as the species diversity of Lake Ecosystem, plant community structure and the stability of the ecological environment were simulated in this paper. We proposed the target and principles for the water remediation and landscape ecological reconstruction of Ling Lake scenic area, determined that Trapa Comm, Nelumb Comm, Zizania Comm, Vallisneria Comm and Phragmites Comm should treated as the main body of the ecological reconstruction, discussed the population structure, water surface coverage, ecological and landscape function for each community. Furthermore, we also discussed the request controlling density for phytoplankton and the proportion for the fish fingerlings, as well as the measures for the optimization on ecological reconstruction.

Abstract: An intensive investigation of 55 samples which have been collected from different functional areas was conducted to study concentrations and distribution of chromium in urban soils of Suzhou by X-Ray fluorescence spectrometer, and the method of Geoaccumulation index. The results indicate that the chromium content in Suzhou soils is from 45 to 144 mg/kg, with an average value of 73.42 mg/kg; and distribution characterized of different functional areas as follows: Industrial areas > Commercial areas > Areas around station > Residential areas>Urban green space; the accumulation index values is between 0.81 and 1.91, which is non-polluting or moderately polluted.

Abstract: With the rapid development of urbanization, more intensive urban buildings and crowded space resulted in the declining of the environmental quality in urban areas, and also eroding the natural and cultural resources both in urban and rural areas, which requested the desires for healthy living and natural environment. Greenway, with the low-carbon to meet people's desire, is a dedicated “way” linking the urban, natural and cultural landscape. With ecological protection, exercise, recreation and leisure, historical and cultural continuity, and other functions, it is one of the special low-carbon spaces. Greenway, sharing and integration of urban and rural resources, plays the role of effective protection of urban and rural local cultural and ecological environment. The design of the Shanhaiguan Greenway, for example, is not only to meet the basic requirements of the greenway, but also combined with the history and culture, to further Improve the urban quality of the historical and cultural city of Shanhaiguan and build an urban and rural low-carbon space.
