Abstract: Heat flow from the roof together with radiation through glass windows obviously contributes in the total heat gained of a vehicle cabin. The contribution is more significant especially hot and sunny weather with little wind. This paper presents a new design for vehicle roofing structure in order to improve its total thermal resistance. Its main concept is to utilize phase change material properties to first trap the heat from solar radiation and then release it back to the environment by means of the naturally favored external convection when the vehicle is in use or during the nocturnal cycle. Experimental and numerical analyses have been conducted to compare the thermal performance of the new design and the normal roofing with different colors. A general mathematic equation system has been derived for the thermal process through the roof. The results show that the new design could effectively reduce the downward heat flow from the roof into the cabin. As a consequence, the cooling load of the cabin could be significantly lower.

Research on Pose Estimation for Electric Vehicle’s Fast-Swap Battery Box Based on Visual Information
Abstract: For the reason of difficult to get battery box pose information, we research the battery box pose measure method based on visual information. We get the coplanar four points at the lines constraints which extracted form image. We get the pose relationship between the battery box coordinate system and camera coordinate system, and then calculate the average of the measure results to reduce noise effects for measure precision. Simulation results show that the method through calculate average of the measure results can effectively reduce noise effects for measure accuracy. The actual experimental results show that the pose estimate accuracy is meet robot requirements for battery swap.

Abstract: With the rapid development of electronic vehicle, AC charging spot is applied widely as a main charging type of electronic vehicle. A project of wireless communication network is given according to the characteristics of AC charging spot, and this project solves the problems when using industrial field bus. The network structure is given in this paper with design schemes of hardware protocol and software. A test network has been structured and the project of this paper is proved viable.
