Undergraduate Curriculum Design Based on Architects’ Core Abilities Cultivation
Abstract:
Architect’s knowledge covers both areas of human art and technology. The core abilities of this profession include analysis, design, presentation and coordination. Curriculum design in Architecture Department hereby shall attach great importance on the cultivation of students’ comprehensive competence. To foster talents with practical and innovative engineering ability, we set up three mutual supportive methods: module-based teaching system, open-typed and diversified educational platform, and well-structured faculty team. This method has been proved to be an effective one which achieved good results.
