Abstract: The environmental quality early warning in mine are combined with the social, economic and environmental indicators to establish a series of sensitive early warning index to reflect the change of mine environment. Finally, according to the alarm level to forecast the mine environment pollution. This research take the copper mine as an example, establish the mine environmental quality early warning index system, application of AHP to determine the weight, then weighted average to get the early warning general index of mine pollution factors. At last, put the early warning general index into the mathematical model, calculate the mine environmental quality early warning types.

Abstract: By introducing the supply and demand of China's wood resources, it summed up the necessity and problems of the recycling of waste wood. Then it presented that studying on the recycling of waste old ship-wood could provide new ideas for the recycling of waste wood. And then it in detail discussed that using which ways and means to achieve the efficient and high value-added recycling of waste old ship-wood on the premise of low-cost, green and environmental protection, and energy conservation and emissions reduction. And finally it pointed out that designers play key roles in the process of recycling waste wood and the recycling of waste wood has an expansive industrialization foreground which can boost the construction of “two-oriented society”.

Abstract: The report presents the results of the analysis and assessment of environmental status of land covering and mining waters in the area of abandoned coal enterprises of Primorsky Region. In the examined area on a set of fixed characteristics a very complicated, "catastrophic" and "poor" environmental situation is being formed. There is offered a series of methods reducing the negative impact of technogenic objects to the environment.

Abstract: A quantitative comparison of total costs between the traditional approach and the optimization approach for stormwater management is presented in this study. As the uniform sizing method is always associated with the traditional stormwater management practices, the optimization approach is well suited for the more recent stormwater management paradigm of low impact development (LID) practices. In the case study conducted for the town of Franklin in the Upper Charles River Watershed, Massachusetts, USA, the optimization method is able to identify stormwater management alternatives that cost 60% less than the traditional approach for meeting the Phosphorus loading reduction targets. The study highlights the comprehensive benefits from coupling optimization with the LID practices in stormwater management: 1. The LID practices’ focus on restoring the predevelopment runoff conditions ensures sustainable stormwater management, and 2. The optimization technique guarantees that the most cost-effective LID practices are selected throughout the decision-making process. The approaches outlined in this study can be very informative to many Asian countries that are under fast development and are in urgent need of scientific and sound approaches for achieving sustainable watershed management.

Abstract: Risk analysis and calculation about different position from oil tank, is to supply the scientific basis on risk control and design of precaution device. The risk factors of the oil tank as the start is analyzed, and risk concept model under several uncertain influences of storage medium, storage amount, newness extent, distance among oil tanks and environment is established;the different position of oil tank risk calculation models and their risk levels precaution method under single tank coupled with several tanks are put forward. According to the case simulated, the method can be used in risk control.

Abstract: Based on that floc structure is an important factor that influencing the coagulation effect and the post-treatment load, the effect of PAM on floc structure of typical system is analyzed and evaluated in this paper. The results show that PAM has a notable influence on floc morphological structure characteristics. For inorganic turbid system, the fractal dimension and diameter of kaolin flocs adding PAM are bigger than that formed by adding aluminum sulfate merely, and the shear-resistant ability of flocs is stronger. With regard to dissolved organic system, adding PAM under two typical pH conditions, the floc morphological characteristic has the same variation with that in inorganic turbid system. PAM could improve the floc morphological structure. However, the improving effect will be relatively weaker under slightly acidic condition, which indicates that the chemical effect of PAM is restrained under this condition. While for the coexisting system, PAM shows an obvious improvement on floc structure under two pH conditions, the floc is compact, bigger and with a higher strength. The chemical effect of PAM is not restrained under slightly acidic condition, which may owe to the interaction between PAM and inorganic suspended materials and dissolved organics in coexisting system.

Abstract: As an effective tool for achieving sustainable development, cleaner production is playing an increasingly prominent role in China’s industrial and environmental protection policies. In this paper, the authors evaluate the implementation of cleaner production among 51 enterprises in Qingdao by cleaner production audit report. Results show that, significant economic and environmental benefits are achieved by implementing cleaner production. To promote the development of cleaner production, increasing financial and political support as well as publicity and training are urgent tasks for Qingdao.

Abstract: To understand the nickel supergene enrichment mechanism in the lateritic process, we have conducted a preliminary analysis of the micro-morphology and micro-area chemical characteristics of the nickel-carrying minerals of garnierite, sampled from the Kolonodale area of Sulawesi Island in Indonesia. The SEM + EDS analysis shows that, the main nickel-carrying minerals in garnierite are serpentine and talc. The micro-morphology of the talc is fragmented and in piling structure. The micro-morphology of serpentine manifested tubular, fibrous, plate-like and other morphologies, showing the staggered and twisted, mesh-cross and sheet-interwoven structures, etc. The EPMA line scan analysis shows that the mineral types of garnierite samples are mainly of serpentine, talc, olivine and pyroxene debris, containing small amount of quartz, chrome spinel, etc. The Ni content varies a lot in the different minerals, and the nickel-carrying level sorting from high to low is: talc> secondary serpentine> iddingsite > residual serpentine> residual spinel> secondary quartz.

Abstract: A method of cavity making using directional-butted wells technology has been established. Not only does this method can accelerate the process of cavity making, but also solve the problem of shape controlling in oil and gas storage cavern with interlayers. Locating wells and controlling targets are the key drilling technology. The process of solution mining can be divided into two periods that channels making period and construction period. Sand plug and salt crystals are the common accidents during the process of cavity making and some measures should be taken to deal with them.

Abstract: The slope deformation and instability caused by rainfall is the most common geological hazard in the highway slope landslide hazards. This paper used the finite element method to analyze the stability of slop in a variety of water-saturated conditions based on the strength reduction method, and to get the mechanism of rainfall weakening the strength of landslide. The results shows that the slope landslide in the fully saturated state would be instability when the surface was muddy geotechnical (thickness about 5 m), but it could remain stable when the saturated rate was under 80%. Under the action of rainfall, the maximum shear stress of potential slip plane in this kind of slopes was in the landslide’s lower edge which has obvious stress concentraten. Therefore, slope control measures should be strengthened to prevent the occurrence of the landslide hazard in the lot of long rainy season.
