Research and Design of Embedded Multi-Function CNC Platform Based on ARM

Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper is to research and design an open and modularization multi-function embedded NC platform. The platform takes ARM as the core, and using DSP chip to realize interpolation operation, abundant I/O ports and peripheral devices interfaces were designed, with high performance, cost effective and stronger universality features, easy to maintain and upgrade. User can add the special module according their need to achieve wire-cutting, lathing, drilling, milling and other operation and process of the NC tools.
