Abstract:

Phthalic acid esters (PAEs) is a kind of very important organic chemical product, mainly used as plasticizer and softener for polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and other rubber and plastic materials in industry. However, PAEs also is a common organic pollutant and extensively exists in atmosphere, water, soil, biology and food. And by a variety of ways enter into human body and have potential harm to human health, or even endanger people’s life. Therefore, government should work out the relevant laws and regulations, research the new non-toxic and environmental friendly plasticizer, and take prevention and restoration measures to protect the ecological environment and people’s health.
