A Condition for the Existence of Period-3 or Period-4 Orbit Solutions in the Lotka–Volterra Difference System

Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper studies orbital periodic solutions of a Lotka–Volterra difference system. Using a trial method, a condition is obtained for period-3 or period-4 orbital solutions of this system, and we show that the existence of a pair of initial functions of period-3 or period-4 orbital solution implies that they are 3-periodic or 4-periodic.
