Abstract: This study exams the nature of adolescents’ experience of cyberbullying and determines independently the impact of anonymity and lack of social cues on cyberbullying behavior among middle school students. The preliminary analysis of a survey data collected from middle school students in Taiwan. The results of this study provide support for our hypotheses and explore the effects of anonymity and reduced social cue on cyberbullying behavior of middle school students. This implies that those with high level of anonymity and reduced social cue lead to create high degree of cyberbullying behavior.

Abstract: Weblogs, or blog, are rapidly becoming a mainstream technology in the information world. By June 2008, Technorati, an internet search engine, was indexing 112.8 million blogs and over 250 million pieces of tagged social media. Blogs allow millions of people to easily publish their ideas and millions more to read and evaluate and comment on them. When bloggers write things on their blog they became public. Although bloggers use blogs for many different functions and would likely provide many different definitions of blog (Stutzman, 2004), as we have seen, many bloggers perform journalistic functions. Therefore most moral code for bloggers is credibility in a journalistic sense (Blood, 2002; Dube, 2003), but they are nonprofessional without such code. Generally, blog audiences are built on trust, so bloggers should be honest and fair in gathering, reporting and interpreting information. For example, bloggers should disclose every benefit to any monetary (or other potentially conflicting) interests when appropriate. However, there has been almost no talk about this kind of ethics in the blog world. This study designed three ethical scenarios of blogger behavior against ethics code. Scenarios include blogger promoted her favorable food without disclosure conflict of interests, post other people’s entries without referencing material, and decoding other bloggers’ picture. The purpose of current research was to examine the perception of moral intensity and how the perception directly affected the specific processes of moral decision making of bloggers related to three scenarios.

Abstract: Since movies were introduced into India, they have become one of the key industries in the country. Besides the wide support in the local market, Bollywood films have started to stand out on the world stage. There are 3.6 billion international audiences of Indian films. Different from Hollywood movies which we are familiar with, Indian films reveal strong national culture. This study probes into the success factors of Indian films by literature review on the development of Indian films, special film culture and policy of the Indian government, and generalizes the following success factors of Indian film industry: high population, ticket price & low cost, local cultural environment, governmental policy, and combination of tradition and innovation. This study analyzes the factors above and compares the related factors with American films.

Abstract: Geosynthetic reinforced soil retaining structures (GRSRS) become popular in the recent decades because of the advantages of easy construction, consuming waste soil in the construction site, supreme seismic resistance ability, etc. For the reason that clayey soils cover a wide area in Taiwan, clayey soils are often used as the backfilled materials for the GRSRS. Besides, during the 921 Chi-Chi Earthquake, a few GRSRS were destroyed. Consequently, the dynamic analysis of GRSRS turns out to be another significant research topic. In this paper, we investigate the creep behavior and the seismic response of model GRSRS by using finite element simulation. The predicted results indicated that the tensile stress of the reinforcement is increasing with time as well as under earthquakes. The tendency of the incremental tensile forces due to the clayey backfill soil creep behavior is significant in the initial stage but slows down with time goes on. Observing the predicted results of the GRSRS under different earthquake scales, it is found that the acceleration variations and the tensile force distribution of the reinforcement layers can not be evaluated with a simple factor.

Abstract: The coming of digital living, as well as the rising popularity of smart phones and tablets, has seen a rush by digital content applications on mobile devices. Most have focused their attention on the hardware and equipment, while the source of content and format development has attracted relatively little attention. For the electronic books industry, hardware is not the only challenge. The development of the ebook format is another issue that they must now contend with. Future mobile readers continue to follow the trend towards color. Thinner, lighter as well as ever cheaper electronic products with more integrated functions are also on the table. If a reader appears that offers more advantages and is better suited to user requirements, this means the publishing format of ebooks will naturally evolve in the direction of multimedia ebooks that offer greater variety. Right now, the hardware side of digital publishing formats is developing in multiple directions. No single specification has emerged for publishing format and copyright management however. As most publishers and authors still harbor doubts about licensing in digital publishing, this has also made it difficult to acquire digital copyrights. All of these are important issues facing the digital publishing industry today.
