Equipment Selection Requirements of Offshore Drilling

Abstract:

Compared with onshore drilling, offshore drilling condition is extremely complex,more security requirements are needed. According to the characteristic of offshore drilling, this paper states the ruler and safety requirement selection of offshore device, including: types of platform, load of rig, position system, BOP, and riser system. List the relevant calculation formula, technical parameters, presents the main requirement of the equipment selection.
