Design of Network Power Meter Based on Modbus TCP

Article Preview

Abstract:

To implement fast transmation for a large amount of the electricity parameters and timely measurement, the network power meter is developed based on Modbus TCP. The power meter mainly uses 32bits ARM processor STM32F103RBT6, thighly integrated Delta-Segma ADC CS5451 and Ethernet chip W5100 built-in hardwired TCP/IP stack. According to the meter usage on the testing spot, the measurement precision and communication speed of the network power meter can well meet the power industry requirements.
