Study on Residential Construction by Self-Builders

Article Preview

Abstract:

Property owners experience numerous problems during the process of self-building. If caution is not applied to problem-solving, construction quality can be affected and materials wasted. This study employed an online questionnaire and expert interview to examine various problems that property owners encounter during the process of self-building. The results of this study provide solutions that can be used as reference for future self-builders, thereby eliminating avoidable mistakes, ensuring construction quality, and achieving effective budget management.
