Abstract: Based on the fact that waste building materials are ample in post-earthquake remains, this paper proposes to reuse these materials in the post-earthquake construction. Specific methods of application will be studied from three aspects: utilization design of waste building materials, control of engineering construction process, cyclic regeneration of waste building materials.

Abstract: Baita temple located in the gate of the Tianzi mountain, Wangzhuang township, Changan district, the northen foothills of Zhongnan mountain. Established in Tang dynasty. It is not only the birthplace of the third-order religion but also the irreplaceable cultural heritage in the history of mankind. Firstly, the value of third-order religions birth place is introduced in this paper. Secondly, summarized the damage situation and researched its causes by analyzing environment of Baita temple, Especially the development way for tourism and the construction project are studied for Baita temple.

Abstract: This paper focuses on the systematical analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of Caotang Temple by using ASEB grid analysis. Caotang Temple, situated in Mount Zhongnan, is the ancestral place of Chinese Buddhism Sanlun. It possesses plentiful religious culture resources and shows great value of protection and development. However, it still shows some weaknesses, such as insufficient protection, poor access, lacking features of Buddhism architecture, poor management of entrance space, incomplete service facility etc. Based on ASEB grid analysis and using the example of Caotang Temple, this paper uses the modern architectural concept and space design techniques to highlight the features of religious doctrine of Sanlun, emphasize place spirit, and inherit Buddhist culture.

Abstract: This paper first reviews the definition of protected areas under Chinese law, and it pays attention to problems of using four types of building materials in protected areas: traditional building materials produced by old craftsmanship, traditional components collected from the torn down old buildings, antique-style building materials made from industrial production and well-designed modern building materials with Chinese characteristics. By elaborating on the four different selections of building materials, it analyses the advantages and disadvantages of each selection.

Abstract: Lhasa region's special natural environment makes a unique form of regional folk house. Because of the external culture influence, the form of traditional folk house is continuous improvement. The traditional independence Tibetan folk house is reducing in the Lhasa city. In this situation, the author and his research team had surveyed and tested different types folk houses in the Lhasa city and surrounding areas. Through comparing the spatial characteristics among the traditional Tibetan folk house, contemporary Tibetan folk house and contemporary unit resident building, and this paper analysis the problems faced by each folk house in the development process and extracts the successful experiences from them. That can be used to guide future local residential architectural design.

Abstract: In today's era, people have formed architectural aesthetic psychology of this age, with information technology, intelligence, and sustainable development becoming the theme of the society. The materials and construction techniques of the steel buildings have shown all kinds of expression tendencies involving extreme repeat, extreme identity of surface, overlap between complexity and simplicity, sculptural tendency and tendency to metaphor and symbolism. And these expression tendencies reflect the technical meaning in contemporary architectural form design was architectural expression basing on the social psychological and adapt it.

Abstract: Recently, the Japanese government is actively advocating the form of facilities for the elders, the small multi-care facilities, which is in close relation with the residents in surrounding communities. It is to provide diverse services for the elders mainly by daytime caring, as well as the night accommodation, residence and home caring. This paper mainly introduces the background of these facilities, design concept and key points in design, to provide reference for designing and building of facilities in our country.

Abstract: The improvement of the quality of people's life , not only make the development of tourism industry rapid, but also promote the development of mountain tourism towns. As a basis for the construction of mountain tourism town , the architectural design has a strong demand to integrate into the regional architectural culture. Therefore, to explore the fusion of mountain tourism urban construction design and regional architectural culture is particularly important. This paper takes a designer's point of view and takes the connotation of the regional architectural culture as a starting point. It makes a brief analysis of the present situation and development trend of the building design of mountain tourism town. Through the analysis of present situation and the demand of Shennongjia scenic spot, it takes Shennongjia as a microcosm of the mountain tourism resources. And it takes the design practice of the Shenlin Hotel in Muyu town as an example, to explore the strategies and methods of integration of architectural design of mountain tourism town and regional architectural culture. And it puts forward that to integrate the regional architectural culture into architectural design, is not only the culture of architecture, but also a designer's responsibility.
