The Problems and Solutions of Archaized Architectures in Chengdu Tourist Areas

Abstract:

The more and more archaized architectures has been appearing in public. These were neither fish nor fowl in some tourist areas of Chengdu Plain, because there are lack of Sichuan traditional architectural documents, successful examples and the fundamentals such as size,ratio,scale and modulus and so on. This paper introduce the features of Sichuan traditional architecture and find problems and solutions of archaized architecture after the survey in Chengdu tourist areas. And it also provides some means of use for reference to archaized architectures in Sichuan tourist areas.
